Bridges and Ducks - Jose's Book

Mixed media - Pencil ,Pen and collage from an old digitalized book.
Dear friends
I live in São Paulo, the largest south American city, but I'm from Porto Alegre, the (little) capital city of Rio Grande do Sul state.
Every year with spring beginning we can see the ducks arriving from the north and passing over Guaiba lake going to "Lagoa dos Patos" - something like "Ducks Lagoon" - an other hundred of small lakes in the south of Rio Grande do Sul, Uruguay and Argentina.
One week after Marty show his "ducks entry" here in the blog I visit Porto Alegre for a job and by coincidence I saw the ducks coming and took a photo. (see the line on the picture beside)
That's why I decide to draw my two beloved cities using two important bridges to represent her.
To represent São Paulo I draw the modern Octávio Frias de Oliveira Bridge - aka "Ponte Estaiada"  (1km from home)
To represent Porto Alegre I draw the old Guaiba's bridge, a traditional Porto Alegre post card.
To Moly X, ducks and bridges natural barriers or geopolitcal borders don't represent a problem :-)
Sorry for the late and the simple work, I use only what I have available in my office desk.
Thank you all for your stunned art.

Lynne's Book - The Band

How Marty said that is a great book and subject, and I love wolves too, in fact I breed Siberian Huskys since 1994, today I have only one dog named Nanook the great son of my first husky, a female named Nasha. Huskys are "almost wolves", newed as the best a sled dog, the Siberian Husky has been described as a behavioral representative of the domestic dog's forebearer, the wolf, exhibiting a wide range of its ancestors' behavior. They are known to howl rather than bark. Hyperactivity displaying as an overactive hunting drive. Recent DNA analysis confirms that this is one of the oldest breeds of dog as can be seen with the Alaskan Malamute. Well I use Nanook as my model to join "the band" of 6 wolves representing our great group :-)) Lynne I hope you like, and thanks for share your fantastic art.

My City

Here`s my entry to Jose`s moly, I got a weird thought to draw a city form other planet at first but I thought I`d better to let you know where I lived first, so maybe I save this goofy idea to the next round, haha
I live in Taipei city, capital city of Taiwan, a place that full of information, traffic and people, I love city life, though you can`t get any peace here but those things and people keep you moving.

Drawing perspective isn`t what I`m good at, I tried my best and I was quite enjoy the line drawing!!

btw my scanner sucks so the whole book looks kida dark, please excuse this old baby...

Lynne`s book in progress

About 35% completed, I still need to add some more power lines & details to emphasize the wolf man, and I haven`t stared to draw his clothe either...

I`m so exhausted now, will continute my drawing in the next morning.

My book theme is not so poetic

My moly theme would be technology, computers, universe....., and this is my book for the group, I`m in the mood of drawing these days(ha you may feel it from my works or blog lately).

WELL you guys already knew that this one was supposed to be my entry in the begining, but I was kinda mess up this drawing, though repairing moly was not easy I still decided to remove it from my book, and start a new one. (I didn`t throw this away, instead of that I put it in my portfolio)

New entry....
