Acrylic paint
I have a bunch of good references from USA culture, I love the music (blues and jazz - I play harmonica as hobby :-)
I love the art of Hopper, Pollock and Rockwell Illustrations... I love the sports (I was a Skateboarder)... I love the people and my north american friends...
But what talk about "war Industries" or arguments like "they have weapon of mass destruction" (read oil)...
I grew up in brazilian military dictatorship at 60's (the "lead years ") supported by Jonhson's administration with military and Inteligence personnel operating in Brasil. The same happens in Argentina, Chile, Paraguai...
Well I hope Barak be a different president with a different International politics. I can't express my Ideas and feelings in English so well :-P I hope my art can do that
Marty, thanks for the opportunity to work in your fantastic book.
I hope You understand me.
I use 3 Blues (Prussian, Ultramarine and Cerulean) and 3 Reds (Karmine, oxide or English Red and Naphtol medium) without mixing blues and reds.

hm.. I don`t know about politics and military stuff, but I think your drawing did express that.
and I don`t know you play harmonica!;)
Thanks Joyce, I love your art too.
I hope don't be boring talking about politics...
I love play blues, but I'm not so good :-P
This is going to be a very interesting book, by the time it has reached everyone in the group, who knows what political views may be expressed. These pages and your explanation are just wonderful :-)
amazing as I said on flickr
My parent lived the end of the dictature of France here in spain one of the most long if not the longest in europe and it at some point financed/recieved money founds from USA from the plan marshal,
but thats sand from the past, I've always thought USA is more than his international polithic and more than what we outsiders see (till obama all the press/info from USA we got this last 20 years was negative) because it is the people that lives there that once you get to know them you realize there is wonderful people like in everywhere
anyway not gonna extend myself more :P, I love the entry I wanna put my hands on it soon!
Thanks a lot Lynne and F1X+2for your comments, I agree my vision is limited, I hope know more about USA because I know we have a lot to learning as a country. Thanks again for your kind words
I made a typo there I typed France instead of Franco (Lol) what was I thinking :P
I love France actually
Wonderful people, beauty, and art are everywhere. Politics, good and bad, is everywhere. Thanks for your honest expression. Your painting and your english are perfect.
I was a child in the 60's as well. Toward the end of that decade America was suffering deep shame over wars, racism and sexism. Half the country, at least, has suffered similar shame during the Bush administration. I am very proud of Obama, and hope that he will be the positive change we voted for.
Yeah Marty, lets change our world with hope, justice, democracy and a lot of art. Thanks a lot my friend.
Hope you don't mind that I added this other image. I wanted to show how you made the images work together.
